Wow!! It's been at least a month since I have updated anything on my blog. The reason? No time, too lazy, buzy (pick one of the above). What new lately? Well, I may be transferring to a new workplace. Actually me & a collegue got recommended to a new job scope. I have been to the interview and must say I am feeling excited, nervous and a little sad.

Excited coz it would be a new environment and something new to learn, nervous coz the new job seems to have a steep learning curve and a little sad coz if I get the position I would have to move back to ORQ and say goodbye to all my friends in HP.

Anyways it's not certain that I will get the post as I have mentioned above that two of us got highlighted but only position for one. For me, I try to take it positively, if got the position then good, learn new things, if not then at least still got to be with my friends :)

A rather upsetting day for me, first time I had to raise my voice to this particular person. I guess that's why when @ the new year lunch I was a bit quiet. I just feel that since I didn't do anything wrong the other party has no right to raise his voice at me. Do feel bad afterwards and explained what really happened, glad that over and done with for now.

One of my CDs that I ordered has arrived!! Robotica is the third remix album from Clazziquai Project. As usual it features a blend of house, electronica, jazz and fusion music. To be accurate, this is their album no. 3.5. Track 1 - 7 are original productions while track 8 - 13 are remixes. All in all, quiet a good album to get, great beats, clear vocals of Alex, Horan and Christina. Track listings are written below with the ones in bold personal favourites of mine, the downloads are im m4a format which is more compatible with itunes but windows media player should have no problems playing them - enjoy!:

Alex, Horan & DJ Clazzi

Introduction one of the most popular bands in South Korean and in Asia as well...Clazziquai Project. Their members are DJ Clazzi on mixing, Horan (호란), Alex (알렉스) on vocals. Their music is a delightful cocktail of house, jazz, electronica and bossonova, in short, there is a little something for everyone. Most of their songs are in Korean with some english lyrics. Don't worry though, they can speak fluent english, especially Alex since he is a canadian born Korean. Just ordered two of their album from yesasia...can't wait till they arrive :D

Just finished watching the Korean drama "The First Shop of Coffee Prince" (커피프린스 1호점) or in short just "Coffee Prince". The show stars the bubbly Yoon Eun Hye (윤은혜) as the tom-boyish Eun Chan and suave Gong Yon (공유) and the carefree Choi Han Kyul. The series starts as Eun Chan working to raise money for her somewhat downtrodden family to pay for the house rent (which was three months overdue) and to help pay for her sister's college fees. While Han Kyul who has just returned from America has to fend off numerous blind dates set up by his business minded grandmother who wants him to settle down. Needless to say, most of these blind dates are horrendously ugly or weirdos or both. Enters Eun Chan whom Han Kyul mistaken as a guy and employs him to be his "gay" lover. The ploy was so successful that Han Kyul's grandmother had to serve the ultimatum, either run a coffee shop shop that was nearly going bankrupt and triple the profits within three months or gets cut off. By a twist of fate (and some begging) Eun Chan whose ambition is to be a barrister gets employed as well. Soon Han Kyul starts to develop feelings for Eun Chan even though he still thinks that she's a he. 

As to capture the light-heartedness of the series, the scenes were shot with lots of lighting and the characters wore lots of bright colors. Eun Hye was dressed in bright polo's ranging from yellow to red. Although I would prefer if they would pay close attention to the brands, I mean, realistically how would a someone coming from a financially poor family be able to afford to wear expensive polo's like Abercrombie and Fred Perry? Overall, I think it's a pretty good series, I would give it a 7.5 out of a 10.
